Erika Keough is a seasoned human capital and operations executive, and a passionate entrepreneur. She thrives in helping businesses scale across all stages of growth or exit with a focus on talent acquisition, talent management, people operations and culture.
Professional Achievements
Erika is the founder of Le Breton Group, a People and Talent advisory and consulting firm focused on early-stage startups and small to mid sized businesses. She previously held senior roles at Astreya Partners, Strategy B (formerly MicroStrategy) and Clarabridge.
Current Role
Erika is currently Director, Value Advisory at SD Capital where she provides advise and insights related to organizational structure and development, leadership and team effectiveness, compensation and incentive planning, as well as retention strategies focused on culture and human capital efficiencies as a business owner prepares for a liquidity event or a business exit.

Erika has expert-level skills in talent and HR, organizational and operational efficiencies, risk mitigation, and leadership development at different stages of company growth. This diverse experience set makes her a valuable resource for entrepreneurs and businesses at all stages of growth.
Mentorship and Community
Erika has over two years of experience as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EIR). She has a passion for mentoring founders and helping them piece the necessary items for growth as quickly as possible. Having been a founder and operator, she understands firsthand some of the challenges associated with starting a venture. Erika is a respected leader in the Northern VA community and a proud mother of three children, including a UVA graduate. She’s currently a board member with Together We Bake, advisory board member with happyly, leadership program chair with AM&AA DC/MD/VA and member of The Agora Initiative DC.
