The Business and Economic History Initiative

About

The Darden Initiative on Business and Economic History, hosted by the Institute for Business in Society, is motivated by the belief that the past influences current events and that historical scholarship is vital to understanding the dynamics of modern markets. This workshop series offers an opportunity for Darden faculty and their peers across UVA to interrogate how business and economic systems change over time, and understand how that change can and will shape the development of future ventures. The co-leaders of the initiative include Robert Bruner, Kinda Hachem, Michael Lenox, Scott Miller and June West.
