Jen Coleman
Career Consultant, Executive Coach
Jen has more than 17 years of experience coaching MBA students and alumni, from emerging leaders to senior executives. She is a certified executive coach, career coach and Designing Your Life coach.
Before transitioning to higher education, Jen spent 13 years in financial services. She began her career at Fidelity Investments and, after earning her MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, spent nine years in the Equities Division at Goldman Sachs. Following a year at a hedge fund, she moved into higher education, serving as Assistant Dean of the Career Center at Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business.
In 2015, Jen joined the University of Virginia Darden School of Business as Executive Director of The Armstrong Center for Alumni Career Services, where she led alumni career and professional development programs for nearly 11 years.
Jen holds an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a bachelor's degree in engineering from Tufts University. She earned her Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential through the Hudson Institute of Coaching in Santa Barbara, California.
