Lunch & Learn: Ethical AI Agenda 2030 - Key Steps for You and Your Organization

24 April 2026 | UVA Darden School of Business, Charlottesville

Join leaders of the LaCross Institute for Ethical AI in a discussion of artificial intelligence, its opportunities and risks, and the ethical considerations that inform leaders' decisions, as they and their organizations navigate the rapidly changing landscape of AI over the next five years. Participants will have the opportunity to identify key steps to enhance their personal AI acumen and fuel their organizations' success using AI between now and 2030. 

A gourmet box lunch will be provided for those attending this lunch and learn session.

Data Centers & The Value Chain of Ethical AI

17 February 2026 | The Darden School of Business, Charlottesville

This event featured a deep dive into the world of data centers, highlighting one of the essential infrastructure components in the value chain of ethical AI. Attendees heard from industry experts leading the charge in this dynamic sector, who shared insights on its historic growth, the professional opportunities it presents, and the business and societal challenges that must be addressed.

 

Fellowship in AI Research (FAIR) Symposium

30 January 2026 | The Forum Hotel, Charlottesville

The Symposium featured presentations from the previous year's fellowship recipients: Chirag Agarwal, Assistant Professor of Data Science at the UVA School of Data Science, Max Biggs, Assistant Professor of Business Administration,  UVA Assistant Professor of Computer Science Ferdinando “Nando” Fioretto and Assistant Professor of Business Administration Samuel Levy. And the 2026 felllowship recipients were announced.



UVA Conference on Ethical AI in Business

5 December 2025 | The Forum Hotel, Charlottesville

The third annual conference offered research-grounded insights about the promise and peril of artificial intelligence from some of leading experts from academia and business. Attendees heard from UVA scholars on the current state of AI development and from business practitioners on the effects of AI in their organizations.
