Join the UVA real estate community in Charlottesville for a welcome reception on Thursday, November 13, and an all-day commercial real estate conference on Friday, November 14, 2025.

Professor Alex Cowan teaches four courses in the area of design and digital innovation: Digital Product Management, Software Design, Software Development, and the Digital Capstone. He also created the Coursera specialization 'Digital Product Management', one of the top 15 specializations on Coursera. His work on hypothesis-driven development is widely used by practitioners and instructors as a systematic approach to developing new products and businesses. This event will start with Cowan's background and his perspective on case method and his courses at Darden. Then, he will share his practical expertise in real-world, current topics as well as answer questions from attendees.

Attending a Day With Darden Open House provides an opportunity for prospective students to experience Darden's distinctive case method approach, tour the Darden Grounds, and connect with current students. While we do not currently schedule interviews during these events, attendees will be able to engage with our Admissions Committee in a panel discussion about the Darden application process.? Attending this event qualifies you for an application fee waiver.

During this session, Managing Director of Admissions Brett Twitty will share five key details about Darden's Part-Time MBA program. Topics will include: Part-Time MBA 2027 class profile, navigating the Part-Time MBA application process, program structure and design, academics overview and career resources for Part-Time MBA students.
