About Darden - Events Calendar

Join Dean Scott C. Beardsley and Senior Assistant Dean of Admissions Dawna Clarke for a conversational and interactive Q&A all about Darden. Learn about their "why" as you hear what brought them to Darden, what excites them year after year and how our MBA program in idyllic Charlottesville might be the right fit for you.

Throughout the year, UVA Darden provides prospective students with the opportunity to observe Executive MBA and Part-Time MBA classes. Class visits are a great way to experience the case method firsthand and to get to know Darden students, faculty and staff. 
When you participate in a class visit, you will sit alongside current students in a class led by a Darden faculty member. Class visit participants will also join students for a light meal before class. Due to limited space, however, we kindly ask that you only register to attend only one class.
During your class visit, your schedule will be as follows. All programming will take place at UVA Darden DC Metro: 
Light meal with students - 5:15 - 6:00 p.m. 
Class observation - 6:00 - 7:30 p.m.

Join Darden Admissions and the members of the Network of Executive Women (NEW) student organization for a brief virtual networking and Q&A session about Darden's Executive MBA and Part-Time MBA formats. This event is open to all prospective students.

Full-Time MBA programs traditionally require several years of full-time work experience. Deferred enrollment MBA programs allow candidates to apply – and secure a seat in a future class – during their final year of study.

Which path is right for you? What makes someone a good fit for one of these programs? Join admissions colleagues from multiple schools: Columbia Business School, Emory Goizueta, Harvard Business School, Kellogg School of Management, MIT Sloan School of Management, Stanford Graduate School of Business, University of Virginia Darden School of Business, and the Wharton School for a lively panel and Q&A session about these various pathways to business school and the MBA application. There will also be an opportunity to network with each participating university.

The event will feature a panel discussion with admissions staff from each school followed by a networking reception with representatives from all of the schools.
