Education: Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior, Graduate School of Business at Stanford University

Naomi Fa-Kaji is a postdoctoral research associate in the Leadership and Organizational Behavior area at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business. Naomi received her B.A. in Psychology and Sociology from Rice University and her Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior from Stanford University. As an intergroup hierarchy scholar, Naomi examines how inequality manifests and is maintained in a society that professes to value equality, yet remains deeply unequal. Her current work falls into three primary streams: (1) identifying bias, group disparities, and their underlying causes; (2) exploring individual and organizational responses to bias; and (3) investigating the untended consequences of efforts to understand address societal problems.
