MBA Class Visits
Experience Case Method with a Class Visit
Step into the Darden experience and discover what makes it so impactful! A Class Visit to Darden offers a unique opportunity to experience the Full-Time MBA program up close. You'll be paired with a current student host, attend a class to observe the case method in action. You will feel the energy in the classroom and take part in Darden traditions like First Coffee at 9:30 a.m.
You’ll also have the chance to speak with the Admissions Committee during Second Coffee from 11:15 a.m. to noon. This is an informal session where you can ask questions and learn more about Darden’s community and application process. To get the most out of your visit, consider reaching out to student club leaders or student ambassadors in advance to schedule a coffee chat. While there’s no formal tour, a self-guided option is available.
Registration requires creating an account or logging into your existing account with Darden admissions. Due to the personalized nature of the visit, sign-ups must be made at least 48 hours in advance.

Darden's Friday Chat and Tour is a offered on select Fridays an in-person event designed to give prospective Full-Time MBA students an opportunity to formally engage with Darden admissions while visiting Charlottesville. It typically includes a small group conversation with a member of the Admissions Committee, where you can ask questions about the application process, student life, academics, and more. This casual, conversational format makes it easy to get personalized insights and explore whether Darden is the right fit for you in small group.
Following the chat, you'll take part in a guided tour of Darden's Grounds. This is your chance to explore the facilities, get a feel for the campus environment and hear firsthand what it's like to be part of the Darden community. The Friday Chat and Tour is a great complement or alternative to a class visit, especially if you're early in the research process or looking for a more flexible visit option at the end of the week.

New for the 2026 application cycle, experience the Darden community like never before at our signature Day With Darden open house in Charlottesville—a two-day event designed to give prospective Full-Time MBA students an immersive look into life at Darden! Our intention is that attendees participate in programming both days, so our team is pleased to offer a complimentary one-night stay at The Forum Hotel to make the visit more accessible and enable you to enjoy the full value and experience of Day With Darden.
Your visit begins Sunday evening with a dynamic student life panel and dinner, where you'll connect with current student leaders and learn more about Darden’s collaborative, close-knit culture. On Monday, you’ll dive into the heart of the MBA experience: sit in on a class alongside a student host, hear directly from the Admissions Committee during an application insights panel, learn about the high-touch support provided by the Career Center and explore our beautiful Grounds on a guided tour.
Day With Darden events are offered on select dates throughout the fall and include an automatic registration for a class visit as part of your experience. While admissions interviews are not conducted during these events, this is a excellent opportunity to engage with the Darden community, build meaningful connections and envision your future here.

For those driving to Darden Grounds, Darden is located at 100 Darden Blvd Charlottesville, VA 22903. Please park in the Darden School Parking Garage, which is the covered garage to the right of Saunders Hall. For Apple Maps – click here and for Google Maps – click here. Payment for parking is handled through ParkMobile. You can choose to utilize their app or webpage to set up parking. The UVA Darden Garage D-10 is Zone 5516 for ParkMobile.
