Class of 2027 Tuition and Fees

Class of 2028 Tuition and Fees
The Student Information System (SIS) is the system of record for all student-related information including unofficial transcripts, grades, billing, and financial aid. Tuition bills will be made available to admitted students, electronically via UVAPay in the SIS.
Tuition and Fees Schedule
Tuition and fees are billed twice each year prior to the fall and spring semesters. Your admission deposits will be credited against your first year fall semester bill.
If you will be using student loans to finance any portion of the costs, please refer to the Cost of Attendance budget for information on expenses that can be covered with financial aid.

Required Health Insurance
The University of Virginia requires all students to have health insurance coverage. Students can elect to enroll in the University of Virginia student health insurance plan or they may have outside coverage from another insurance provider. More detailed information regarding the Student Health Insurance plan is available on the Student Health website.
*For students who enroll in the Student Health Insurance Plan, the annual premium will be billed in the Fall semester.
**This is an estimate, the cost for Student Health Insurance will be released in Summer of 2026.
