Before joining Darden, Janeth spent more than 16 years at Capital One, holding leadership roles across analytics, internal consulting, operations, product management, and people leadership. During her tenure, she led multi-million-dollar programs, products, and operations across diverse business lines, tackling complex customer challenges across multiple customer segments. In her final role, she served as Head of Product for the Card New-to-Credit organization, where she led the development of new products and experiences designed to expand access to credit.

A seasoned people leader, Janeth consistently earned top ratings for empowering, inspiring, and developing high-performing teams. She also led enterprise-wide talent initiatives spanning recruiting, learning and development, succession planning, and leadership development.

Janeth holds a B.S. in Computing Systems Engineering from Universidad Industrial de Santander, an M.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico, and an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business (GEMBA ’17), earning academic distinctions at each level. An active member of the Darden community, she serves on the UVA Darden Global Advisory Council. Outside of work, Janeth enjoys traveling, exploring new cultures, cooking, reading, and dancing.
