Meet the Team - Wendy Huber

Assistant Director of Admissions

Wendy has re-joined Darden as Assistant Director of Admissions. Wendy is a familiar face to many, as she worked with Darden from 1999 to 2019, and recently has been back at Darden in a temporary seasonal reader role with the Office of Admissions. Wendy originally joined Darden as an Admissions Counselor and for the next 13 years spent time in the roles of Admissions Counselor, Assistant Director of Admissions and Associate Director of Admissions. In 2012, Wendy transitioned to the role of Assistant Dean for the Full-Time MBA Program where she collaborated to provide strategic leadership for the MBA program development and delivery. Throughout the pandemic, Wendy held a variety of positions which allowed her to engage with students and the community. She spent time with UVA Athletics as an academic mentor, Loaves & Fishes food pantry as a project coordinator and warehouse assistant, and with Management Leadership for Tomorrow, a non-profit organization, where she reviewed application essays. Wendy’s role as a seasonal reader in admissions sparked her interest in returning to a full capacity role with Darden in the Admissions team. In her free time, Wendy enjoys spending time with her family and two dogs and is currently learning American Sign Language!
