Meet the Team - Whitney Kestner

Managing Director of Admissions for the Full-Time MBA Program

Whitney Kestner (she/her/hers) is the Managing Director of Admissions for the Full-Time MBA Program at Darden. She joined Darden’s Admissions team in the fall of 2007. Over the past 12 years, Whitney has been actively involved helping prospective students discover what makes Darden truly unique among the world’s top business programs. She has a genuine passion for Darden’s transformative educational experience and enjoys meeting people from all over the world and sharing more about Darden’s vibrant and engaging community.

She has also been instrumental in helping the school achieve a number of important enrollment goals, including recruiting the first Global Executive MBA (GEMBA) class in the fall of 2011 and, more recently, the Executive MBA program’s first class section in the Washington, D.C. area. Whitney was also involved in Darden’s partnership with the McIntire School of Commerce to recruit students for UVA’s Masters in Business Analytics.

Whitney earned a Bachelor of Science in biology from Washington & Lee University and an MBA from the Goizueta Business School. She has two amazing children, two active dogs, and an incredibly talented husband.
