MBA - Experiential Learning Opportunities - Global Learning

Starting with the class arriving in August 2018, every student in the full-time MBA program may take one Darden Worldwide Course and receive a scholarship covering all or most of the program fee. 

Darden Worldwide Courses

Darden Worldwide Courses are electives led by Darden faculty outside the United States for a week in March and October. Each course provides the opportunity to visit a different country and experience its business practices firsthand. Recently, these courses have been held in Argentina, Brazil, Finland & Estonia, Morocco, Rwanda, South Korea, and Vietnam. 

Exchange Programs

Darden's Exchange Program gives second-year MBA students the opportunity to study at one of Darden's partner business schools around the world while earning credit toward their degree. Through reciprocal exchange relationships with leading international institutions, students immerse themselves in a new academic and cultural environment, broaden their understanding of global business, and build lasting international networks. 

Global Client Projects

Global Client Projects are second-year MBA electives that allow Darden students to apply their academic learning to real-world consulting challenges for international organizations. Working in small teams with a Darden faculty member, students address a client's pressing business need while developing consulting, problem-solving, and cross-cultural skills. Midway through the project, teams travel to the client site to conduct research, engage with stakeholders, and deepen their understanding of the local business environment. Global Client Project combine experiential learning with global engagement to prepare students for leadership in an interconnected world.
