Entrepreneurship through Acquisition

Entrepreneurship through Acquisition

Darden ETA

The Darden ETA Club empowers and inspires students to explore a purpose-driven career in small business ownership by providing education, resources, connections, and community.

We provide educational information about search funds and small business ownership through a year-long lunch and learn series. These sessions build an understanding of the various paths into the lower middle market.

After joining the club, each member gains access to the resources they need to raise a fund, search, and acquire a business. Membership includes access to alums in the space on our private LinkedIn page.

Lastly, the club provides a space to meet other entrepreneurial-minded students who share insights and deals, act as sounding boards, and ask hard questions to hold you accountable throughout your journey.

The club supplements other ETA offerings at Darden, such as the annual Southeast ETA (SEETA) Conference, several elective classes including a semester-long ETA course actively searching, and five $5000 competitive grants to fund your own search post-MBA.

Whether you want to pursue small business ownership immediately or years down the line, this is your starting point. Welcome to the greatest opportunity of our generation!
